Return & Exchange Policy (Updated: January 2025)

Apparel & Print-On-Demand Items
All products excluding handmade jewelry are final sale. Items like t-shirts, hats, hoodies, and other apparel are printed on demand and fulfilled by a third party, so returns and exchanges cannot be accepted. If you experience any issues with your order (e.g., defective or incorrect items), contact us at theplantecologist@gmail.com so we can assist. Fulfillment time: 7-14 days. If you order other items from my store, those items will ship separately.

Physical Products
We have a 14-day return policy for physical products (not workshop tickets), which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. To start a return, contact us at theplantecologist@gmail.com. Returns should be sent to 4007 Park Avenue, Wilmington, NC 28403. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label along with instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Workshop Ticket Refund Policy
Customers are eligible for a full refund if they cancel their ticket at least 72 hours before the scheduled start of the workshop. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. If a customer cancels their ticket within 72 hours of the workshop's start time, they are eligible for either a 50% refund of the ticket price or a 100% credit of the ticket value towards a future workshop. To request a refund or credit, contact theplantecologist@gmail.com with ticket details. Exceptional circumstances may be considered at our discretion.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
Certain items cannot be returned, such as perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers, plants), custom products (e.g., special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (e.g., beauty products). Returns are also not accepted for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Sale items and gift cards are non-returnable. If you have questions about your specific item, contact us.

Exchanges
The fastest way to get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14-Day Cooling Off Period
If merchandise is shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without justification. The item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return to let you know if the refund is approved. If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that banks or credit card companies may take additional time to post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since your return was approved, contact us at theplantecologist@gmail.com.
